Any agreement you enter into is between you and the buyer. We may receive a commission for introducing your vehicle to our network.
Definitions
“We”, “Us”, and “Our” refer to Scrap Car Now.
“You” or “Customer” refers to the person or business using our service.
“Buyer” refers to a licensed scrap yard, recycler, or vehicle purchaser.
“Quote” is an estimated value based on your vehicle details.
“Offer” is the confirmed price after inspection.
“Vehicle” refers to any car, van, or motor vehicle submitted.
Quotes and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on the details you provide. The final offer is confirmed after inspection by the buyer. If your vehicle’s condition differs from what was described, the price may be adjusted. Quotes may change depending on market conditions, including scrap metal prices, demand, and location.
Your Responsibilities
By using our service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally allowed to sell the vehicle. You must provide accurate and truthful information. You must own the vehicle or have permission to sell it, and it must not have outstanding finance unless declared. The vehicle must be accessible for collection, and all personal belongings must be removed before handover. You may be required to provide identification, proof of address, and vehicle documents if available.
Vehicle Condition
Your vehicle should be substantially complete unless otherwise agreed. Missing parts or damage may affect the final price. The vehicle must not contain hazardous materials and must be safe for loading and transport.
Collection and Handover
Collection is arranged directly with the buyer. Most collections take place during standard weekday hours, with some weekend availability depending on location. At collection, the vehicle will be inspected, the final price confirmed, and ownership transferred. You may be required to sign documents to complete the transaction.
Payment
Payment is made directly by the buyer, not Scrap Car Now. Payments are usually made via bank transfer, as cash payments for scrap vehicles are not permitted under UK law. Payment is typically released after successful collection and verification. It is your responsibility to ensure your payment details are correct.
Cancellations
You may cancel your request at any time before accepting an offer. Once a sale has been agreed and collection arranged, cancellation may not be possible. We reserve the right to withdraw a quote or offer at any time before it is accepted.
Liability Disclaimer
Scrap Car Now acts only as an introduction service. We are not responsible for the actions of third-party buyers or collectors, changes to offers after inspection, delays in collection or payment, or any losses resulting from third-party transactions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Service Availability
